Welcome to Crofton
Crofton, a wonderful, planned community in Anne Arundel county was established in 1964. It was named after a small township in Cumberland, England. Crofton was built around a 3.5 mile loop referred to as the Crofton Parkway. The Crofton Parkway rests within the 'Crofton Triangle' which is created by the boundaries of Route 424 (Davidsonville Road), Route 450 (Defense Highway) and Route 3 (Crain Highway). Today Crofton extends much further than these boundaries to meet up with the towns of Davidsonville, Gambrills and Odenton.
Crofton offers blue-ribbon schools, convenient shopping for all of your needs, great restaurants, community pools, biking, jogging amenities, the Crofton Country Club and the Walden Golf Club. Crofton is made up of a mix of single family homes, townhomes, condominiums, apartments and 55+ adult communities.
Crofton is within an easy commute to Washington D.C., Fort Meade, Andrews AFB, Baltimore and Annapolis where the Navel Academy resides. There is much to do in Crofton from craft fairs to summer concerts on the Village Green.
